For use with dementia patient.
Unfortunately, I bought these for my father-in-law who is suffering from dementia but still has some sense of self. For those of you reading this review that are sensitive to certain issues, he is unable to put on regular Tefillin.
Even Tephillin cases without the parshiyos present some problems.
After consulting with an appropriate RAV.
I obtained these. These allow my poor father-in-law to maintain some dignity.
I realize that these were not the intended use for these playthings, but they certainly do serve a role for something they were not intended for.

My son enjoys it!
My son chose this toy for his BDay present in light of his older bro's Bar Mitzvah. I see him playing with it from time to time.
I like toy's quality. Easy to put on. Not so easy to fold all this straps neatly back in bag, but it's similar to real ones. My eight years old man manage to fold it all by himself. It's so weird to see him in Tefillin at this age thought...
The beautiful, quality made, embroidered velvet bag and an additional plastic cover is absolutely identical to real Tefillin bags. Toy Tefillin with it's bag have a normal, realistic size. You can easily confuse it with a real thing.
I definitely would recommend this toy to friends!

My son loved this right away. He did however notice that it had the words "toy" and "play" on it. He told me they should never have said praying was playing! I was proud that he said that! This is very nice for a child to learn with.
