This is the budget unresponsive you've been looking for!
It's unresponsive and a little picky on the bind, but because of this it's also more forgiving on sloppy throws. Slightly off center throws don't slow it down as much. The is because there isn't much plastic that leads into the response pads and the plastic is pretty slippery anyway.
It feels good on the end of the string, doesn't seem to slam at the end like some yoyos.
Beautiful marbled plastic that's unique.
It has a slightly ripply textured plastic that's meant to be slippery and good for grinds. (Doesn't slow down as much as a glossy yoyo)
It's also supposed to be great at off axis tricks, but I'm nowhere near that level of play to verify it. Gentry won US nationals with it, so I think that qualifies.
Big value for your money!

Top notch yo-yo that had been used to win a national competition. However, this is an n UNRESPONSIVE yo-yo and the last thing you want to get for an absolute beginner. Start with a Duncan Imperial or Yomega Brain.
