Adorable, Study, but Poorly Constructed
By Brittany Turner
We just purchased this rocker for a baby shower for my sister-in-law. It is adorable and much cuter than a traditional horse rocker, especially since we've nicknamed the baby Panda. We were deciding between this rocker and the Radio Road Toys Panda rocker, which was significantly less expensive but appears to have a plastic, instead of wood, base. We chose this rocker because it looked more realistic and less like a stuffed animal. Aesthetically, the rocker is adorable. I was a little disappointed that one of the foot holds on the rocker was scuffed and discolored, but otherwise, the item arrived in good condition. Assembly seemed straightforward, but the screws were all misaligned, making the really basic assembly pretty annoying and frustrating. It took about 20 minutes, which was about 15 minutes longer than it should, since you simply insert the screws into pre-drilled holes in the base, twist on a washer and cap, and then twist on the handles (think Ikea furniture assembly). It also came with a simple instruction sheet, so it was pretty much foolproof, but the crooked screws made it a huge pain. Similarly, the support for the 2 handles was installed off-center, so the handles are lopsided and one sticks out a good inch and a half more than the other. The support is so off-center that the white plastic washer and tube are actually protruding on the longer side. Overall, we're pleased with it, but it wasn't quite what we were expecting (especially given the $160 list price; I'd be livid if we had paid that much for this toy). If you're deciding between this and the Radio Road Toys version, I'd probably suggest giving that one a try since this one hasn't really blown me away enough to understand the price difference. That being said, I've never seen the Radio Road Toys version in person, so it might have other problems, and this is still a pretty decent toy.

Cute but doesn't last
I purchased for my sons third birthday and was frustrated from the start. When I opened it was difficult to put together. It should be easy came in two pieces the rocker and the panda. However holes didn't match the posts on the legs of the panda. After about 15 minutes of forcing it together it finally did go together. My son loved it, but after a week of use the seem on the pandas back tore open and unravelled. I was able to sew it closed, but it didn't make it more than 24 more hours before the panda's frame folded and I was afraid my son legs would get caught between the rocker and metal structure inside the panda. Totally disappointed because its so cute and my son loved it... For a week. Not worth what I paid for a week of play.

This panda provides a rocking good time!
By Mom of Three
Bought this as my daughter's first Christmas gift and it was a great purchase! My daughter loved it from day one. She was 15 months when she started riding her panda. We had to help support her in the beginning, but she caught on to the rocking concept very quickly and was rocking on her own before we knew it.She played with it every day for several months. Almost a year later and she's two, but she still loves to ride on top of her panda every now and then.
There's not much to assemble so it was easy to put together. Very solid piece and well constructed. The panda has a limited rocking motion so it might look disappointing at first, but it keeps the child entertained and safe.
