1st let me say this! Its a Toy! After reading some of the reviews I was not going to purchase. However I'm pretty glad I did. The views will leave your children speechless. My kids were amazed! Its a great learning tool as well. I have no complaints! Its a neat toy! That can take you to see places and different things in the world.

Sorry but the low rating reviews are crazy. I am absolutely blown away by the Space package. The ability to move through the solar system and see each planet as well as their moons is simply amazing. The ability to move and orbit each one of them is brilliant. It is a great learning opportunity. The shuttle and the constellation part was so-so. For the constellations, it is hard to beat the Star Walk app for iphone.
My kids , 6 and 4 are mesmerized by this. Although this is great in itself, it is amazing to think where this technology will go next.

Wow. I don't understand the low reviews.
It must be the instant gratification generation...
The bad: It REQUIRES a reasonably intelligent adult to install the apps, align the phone in the device and HOLD the passcard over the phone screen to get the thing started. You MUST align the phone within a 1/32 of an inch to see the 3D effect.
The good: Once I got everything working I couldn't get it away from my 9 year old.
I bought 1 add on pack(space). I couldn't get any content displayed with what just came with the viewer.
You navigate around by moving your head and clicking on the labels in the images using the side slide button (what was used to go to the next picture on the old viewmaster. It uses the tilt sensor in the phone to change the view when you move your head.
Can't wait to see what they do next!
Taking one star off for splitting the content into multiple packages and the stupid pass card.
